Firstly, this is just to tell your mor about what breed truely means. Firstly, it is very unlikely that any hamster has any breed.Why?.A breed is only called a breed if it breeds true, which is that the babies are of almost the same genetically as their parents. One example is lab mice. They look, act, react to chemicals the same as all their relatives. To reach that state requires confirmation that they breed true. This may not hold for sapphire, as Sapphire x Sapphire only leads to sapphire and nothing else. But for pearl and pudding, the case is different very different.
So i would hope u would use breed more carefully.
Secondly, it is more probable that u do not have any pure breed puddings. Reason is that i believe they are heterozygous lethal, meaning, no pure puddings exist as they die before being born. Feel free to rebutt my observation, because its only an opinion and deduced from a internet posts seen in these few years. If u have anything that disagrees, gladly would i listen, since i am a pudding breeder myself.
For pearl, its possible to have pure pearls, though very difficult. You need to confirm your pearl has 2 pearl genes, and this needs breedings, or DNA testing.
In short, pleasepleaseplease use breed properly. i have seen it being misued especially recent. And one last example to be given to state why some breeds are never pure. Blood AB can never be pure breed. Forgive me for crudely using a human example, but it is true. AB x AB= 1A 1B 2AB all time.
Finally, and most importantly, i wish to ask about your puddings. Do u have any for sale? Email me @ leexiongan17@hotmail.com
If i sounded too agitated, i apologise as i cannot stand using the word breed wrongly.
Good luck and nice robos u got there. They were a joy when i had them a few years ago.
